Jack A. Keller

Mr. Keller, 85, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 8, 2013, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean and Vietnam wars, and he was a master sergeant in the New Jersey National Guard. He worked for the state of New Jersey in supply operations at the West Orange Armory. Mr. Keller was predeceased by his wife, Inez Keller, in January. Surviving are three daughters, Joanne Riker and her husband, John, of Forked River, Janice Trapanese and her husband, Joseph, of Charleston, S.C., and Joyce Thompson and her husband, Richard, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lawrence “Larry” Keller, of Bayville. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment with full military honors at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Cemetery, Arneytown section of North Hanover. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
