MANVILLE: Was county bus hit in an accident? Or was driver mistaken?

Police blotter, week of Nov. 25-Dec. 1

A county bus driver reported a hit-and-run by a black Jeep at Dakota and South Main streets at 10:09 a.m. Nov. 25. Officer Joseph Buda found the Jeep at Dunkin’ Donuts but the vehicle didn’t look like it had been in an accident, he said. Police theorized that possibly one of six wheelchairs in the bus had moved and the driver may have believed it to be from an accident.
