Mrs. Howard, 83, of Eatontown, died Nov. 2, 2013. She retired as an administrative assistant to the director of technical publications at the Communications Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Samuel Thomas Howard III; two daughters, Dawne Howard Henderson and her husband, Frank, and Cynthia Howard Flannigan and her husband, Tim; and two grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to the Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. Interment was private.
