Jackson Mayor Mike Reina has announced that the township will be featured on “Today in America” on several national cable television channels.
“All the hard work and preparation that went into this project has paid off tremendously. This nationally televised segment introduces the business, lifestyle and recreational opportunities that Jackson has to offer to people all over the country. This will surely boost tourism and hopefully attract commercial development which will bring more jobs and revenue to help stabilize our taxes,” Reina said.
According to a press release, the five-minute segment will air one time nationally on Dec. 10 at 7 a.m. on the Discovery Channel and 19 times regionally on CNN Headline News through regional cable operators and/or regional news networks, in many of the top 100 markets nationwide based on viewer demographics, interests and the distribution checklist.
“Today in America” is hosted by Terry Bradshaw.
