Two individuals who served in World War II will offer remembrances of the war in a program set for 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.
Capt. Samson, a Navy artist whose work is displayed in the U.S. Capitol, Washington, D.C., will share his drawings and stories.
Frank Russo, a decorated Army veteran whose honors include the Silver Star, will talk about his experiences serving in Europe and will share personal artifacts. The presentation will be introduced by Tommy Coohill, commander of East Brunswick Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 133.
Admission is free of charge. The program is co-sponsored by VFW Post No. 133 and the library.
