FLORENCE: Police seeking suspects in bank robbery

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Roma Bank on Broad Street in the township.

FLORENCE — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Roma Bank on Broad Street in the township on Dec. 3.
   According to a Florence Township Police Department release, a male suspect entered robbed the bank at 2:51 p.m., but did not display a weapon. No injuries were reported.
   The suspect, described as a light skinned black or Hispanic male, left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
   He is described as being approximately 5-foot-8, and was wearing a black hat and a dark blue zip up sweatshirt with a paint stain on the right shoulder.
   According to police, the suspect ran to a dark blue ‘90s model GMC Jimmy or Chevrolet Blazer with silver modeling, that was parked on East Second Street and fled the scene.
   Police said the vehicle then turned left onto Broad Street.
   The incident is being investigated by the Florence Township Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
