PLUMSTED: Wreath workshop set at winery

The workshop will go from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at the winery, which is located at 85 Archertown Rd.

PLUMSTED — Nurture Environmental Stewardship Today!, a New-Jersey based nonprofit, will be holding a Holiday Wreath workshop at Laurita Winery in New Egypt Friday night.
The workshop will go from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the winery, which is located at 85 Archertown Rd.
According to a NEST! Press release, each wreath shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to create from start to finish.
The organization has adopted Paradise Park, located on Lakeview Drive near Main Street, where local youth have built an 8-foot bird feeding station.
The organization is suggesting a $20 donation to help with its mission of spreading a greater environmental awareness and partly to purchase birdseed throughout the winter months to feeding feathered friends along Oakford Lake.
A grapevine wreath, holly twigs and pine twigs will be provided to make the wreaths.
While the organization is trying to keep materials used all-natural, participants are welcomed to bring ribbons, ornaments and/or bows.
Participants are also invited to bring in last year’s wreath and redecorate as the organization encourages any and all forms of recycling. There will be 30 wreaths available for decorating.
