A 2013 Acura IXT was reported stolen from Precision Acura on Brunswick Pike between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 and 10 a.m. Dec. 3. The car was recovered in Trenton around 1 p.m. Dec. 3.
An attempted burglary was reported at Alma Printing on Bakers Basin Road between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 3 and 5:40 a.m. Dec. 4. An employee who arrived for work discovered an open door at the business, but nothing was reported missing.
Seven heavy-duty truck batteries, valued at a combined $1,400, were reported stolen from construction equipment belonging to a paving contractor while they were parked on Black Road between 5 p.m. Nov. 29 and 7 a.m. Dec. 4.
A 79-year-old Lawrence resident reported the theft of her wallet, containing cash and credit cards, from the Acme grocery store at the Lawrence Shopping Center around 3:30 p.m. Dec. 4. She was using the self-checkout register and may have left the wallet there.
Ali Hiltey, 22, of Hopewell, and Matthew Kritz, 24, of Robbinsville, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (a crack pipe) after they were discovered sitting in a parked car in the parking lot of a Lawrence Road apartment complex at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 4.
Ms. Hiltey, who was also charged with possession of a hypodermic needle, was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on $2,000 bail with the 10-percent option on an outstanding warrant.
A Galaxy tablet, a Wii game, a laptop computer and a ring, worth a combined $2,100, were stolen from a Zoar Street residence between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dec. 5. The victim came home and discovered the house had been ransacked by the burglars.
Ajile Key, 23, of Trenton, Felipe Davila, 24, of Ewing, and Shabree Austin, 23, of Lawrence, were charged with shoplifting clothing at Macy’s at 5:33 p.m. Dec. 6. Ms. Key allegedly took clothing worth approximately $1,075. Ms. Davila allegedly took clothing worth $1,152 and Ms. Austin allegedly took clothing valued at $137.
Gary Warford, 65, of Lambertville, was charged with shoplifting and possession of burglar tools (a knife to cut off security sensors) for allegedly taking an assortment of tools and accessories, worth a combined $615, from Sears at 12:59 p.m. Dec. 7.
Aftandil Abdymajitov, 46, of Philadelphia, was charged with shoplifting and possession of burglar tools (a pair of pliers) for allegedly taking $383 worth of clothing from Lord & Taylor at 4:55 p.m. Dec. 7.
A 16-year-old Lawrence High School student was charged with possession of a weapon in school at 11:29 a.m. Dec. 9 after a small penknife fell out of his pocket and was observed on the ground by a teacher.
Someone stole 12 Playstation game systems, worth a combined $2,800, and two Wii game systems, worth a combined $140, from the Gamestop store between 11:30 p.m. Dec. 6 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7.
Marelin Santos-Solares, 21, of Princeton, was charged with shoplifting clothing worth $148 from Sears at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9.
Chevin Burgess, 22, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation at 10:50 p.m. Dec. 9. Police found a partially smoked marijuana blunt and two small baggies containing suspected marijuana in the car he was driving.
