Intersections unbearable
By John O’Sullivan, Monmouth Junction
To the editor:
Wake up South Brunswick, times they are a-cfhanging.
Population and traffic on our roads have increased, which affects your quality of life.
In the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick this is evident at the two intersections of New Road and Ridge Road, both coming from Route 1 and then going towards Friendship Road, leading out to Route 130 and Exit 8A of the New Jersey Turnpike.
This problem has been growing for decades.
As a resident of Monmouth Junction, I can vouch for this, as can the other folks who live along this section of Ridge Road.
Traffic during the extended rush hours is unbearable especially when cars are trying to make the right or left turn to go towards Friendship Road or Route 1.
One has to wonder how many more years or decades we will have to wait until this traffic problem gets fixed.
