Handbell choir to host holiday music show

The Raritan Ringers, a choir of advanced handbell ringers from communities in New Jersey, will present a concert of sacred and secular holiday music at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse, 491 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.

The select group of 13 adult handbell ringers is led by F. Paul Dickey, director of music and organist at the United Reformed Church in Somerville. Flutist Christopher Hochstuhl, a junior at Westminster Choir College, will be featured in several arrangements.
