HILLSBOROUGH: Vehicles at business broken into, police say

Police report

   Three vehicles were reported damaged Nov. 30 while parked overnight at a business on Amwell Road. All three had windows broken.
   • Jon Dennison, 49, of Lambertville was charged with possession of marijuana after it was found on him when his vehicle was stopped on Amwell Road on Nov. 30. He was also charged with speeding and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. He was released with a date to appear in court.
   • Joseph Mangini, 21, of Hillsborough was charged with driving while intoxicated after his vehicle was stopped on Mountainview Road on Nov. 29. Police said his blood-alcohol level was 0.17 percent. He was also charged with improper passing. He was released with a date to come to court.
   • Nicholas Villa, 18, of Hillsborough was charged with underage possession of alcoholic beverage Nov. 27 after police officers allegedly saw him buying it from a local business. He was released from the scene pending a court appearance.
   • A Rowland Drive resident said Nov. 25 that his vehicle had been entered in the prior few days. A GPS unit, valued at $80, was said to be missing.
   • Annette Oakley, 50, of Philadelphia was charged with DWI and speeding after her vehicle was stopped Nov. 17 on Amwell Road. Police said she registered a blood-alcohol reading of 0.13 percent. After booking, she was released with a court appearance date.
   • Jimmy Lein, 67, of Somerville was charged with DWI after his vehicle was stopped on Route 206 on Nov. 17. He was also charged with refusal to submit to breath testing, speeding, following too closely, improper passing and careless driving. He was released after booking with a court date.
   • Greg Marowsky, 56, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI after his vehicle was found stopped in the parking lot of Kingsbridge Center on South Branch Road on Nov. 17. He was also charged with refusal to submit to breath testing and careless driving. He was released with a date to come to court.
   • A Long Hill Road resident reported Nov. 17 that garden tools, with a total value of $210, were taken from a garage on the property sometime over the past year.
   • Stuart Colangelo, 45, of Hillsborough was charged with DWI after his vehicle was stopped in a parking lot on South Branch Road on Nov. 15. Police said his blood alcohol content was found to be 0.26 percent. He was also charged with failure to stay in one lane, using a cell phone while driving, having an open container and drinking alcohol in the auto, failure to maintain lights and operating an unsafe motor vehicle. He was given a court appearance date and released.
   • Michael Chatterton, 32, of Falsey, S.C., was charged with possession of marijuana after it was allegedly found in his vehicle Nov. 15 by officers who stopped his auto on Valley Road. He was released given a court appearance.
   • A Montgomery Road resident said someone stole chickens, valued at $126, from a barn on Nov. 14.
   • Aarth Patel, 18, of Hillsborough was charged with DWI after his vehicle was involved in an auto accident on Triangle Road on Nov. 14. He was charged with refusal to submit to breath testing, having an open container of alcohol in the auto and careless driving. He and Yash Jagad, 19, of Hillsborough were both charged with possession of alcohol (a bottle in the auto) under age 21. Both were booked and released pending a court appearance.
   • A Millstone River Road resident reported Nov. 14 that someone had broken into his home in the previous days and taken several tools valued at $1,600.
   • Treshon Revan, 19, of New Brunswick was charged with possession of marijuana when it was found on him when a motor vehicle in which he was traveling was stopped by police on Route 206 on Nov. 1. Additionally he was charged with hindering apprehension when he provided a false name to officers.
   The driver, Jade McQueen, 22 of Manville was charged with hindering apprehension of another person when she gave police a false name for Mr. Revan. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for CDS in an auto and failure to change addresses. All charges will be heard in municipal court.
