South Brunswick residents are reminded that there will be no garbage or recycling picked up on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2013 or on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2014.
All material will be picked up the day after the holiday on Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2 respectively.
Christmas tree collection will begin on Jan. 2, 2014.
Trees must be free of adornment, bags and metal items including stands and should be placed at the curb of single family residences.
Those residents living in multi-family developments should place trees next to the most convenient dumpster enclosure.
