HAMILTON — The application from Kingdom Church, a nondenominational church, has been carried to the Jan. 14 Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting.
The board was set to hear the application at the Dec. 10.
Testimony for the application, which proposes the construction a church at 2367 Kuser Road, was previously heard Nov. 12 though at least two more meetings are likely to be held before a decision is made.

Subsequent testimony revealed the facility will contain approximately 1,000 seats and that roughly1,300 worshipers attend the church’s current worshiping site in Ewing between two services.

Earlier in the year year, the church additionally sought to construct a 27,010 square-foot fellowship hall. To accommodate the nearly 200 who residents and congregates, the meeting was held in the Nottingham Ballroom. The Dec. 10 meeting had been scheduled to be held in the same venue.
At the next meeting, the applicant is expected to provide further expert testimony, which will likely be the subject of cross examination by Michele Donato, attorney representing Kuser Community Association.
While congregants, including some who reside in the township, have touted the church as an excellent potential addition to Hamilton, other residents have expressed concern over traffic and open space impacts.
Board Vice Chairman Anthony Celetano and board members James L. Kochenour recused themselves prior to the application being heard Nov. 12.
