Frank M. Chambers

Mr. Chambers, 94, of Green Valley, Ariz., died Dec. 23, 2013. He was the first president of Middlesex County College, Edison. After 10 years in this position, he retired to the family lakehouse in McDonough, N.Y. Mr. Chambers was a U.S. veteran of World War II. He was called upon during the Korean War and assigned to Washington, D.C., working in naval intelligence. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Slater Chambers, in 1992; and his second wife, Mary Jane Bishop Chambers, in 2009. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Dolly Chambers of Albuquerque, N.M.; twin daughters and their husbands, Patricia and David Burpee of Green Valley, Ariz., and Roberta and John Lamb of Lafayette, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
