EAST WINDSOR — Police have charged the man who allegedly robbed the PNC Bank located on Abbington Drive on Jan. 8.
According to an East Windsor police press release, the man entered the bank at approximately 2:06 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money.
Shalir Hall, 20, of Edgewater was arrested on Jan. 14 and charged with robbery, terroristic threats, and theft and weapons offenses, according to police.
”According to bank personnel, the male suspect showed the teller a note demanding money and threatening to shoot her if she did not comply,” said Lt. Richard Bernstein, Investigative Services Commander, on Jan. 8. “The suspect was given a sum of cash and left the bank.”
During the robbery no weapon was shown and no one was injured, police said.
Mr. Hall was being held on $250,000 bail on the charges issued by the East Windsor Police Department, according to police.
”The suspect is currently being detained in the Burlington County Jail on an unrelated charge,” Lt. Bernstein said on Jan. 15.
