Mr. Scanlon, 67, of Howell, formerly of Freehold, died Dec. 26, 2013, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for Ralph Clayton & Sons, Lakewood, for 44 years, retiring in January 2013. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and received several medals. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Scanlon; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Robert Pickus of Jackson; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Dianna Scanlon; five grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda Scanlon of Freehold; his mother-in-law, Cecelia Bielak of Sayreville; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brian and Charlene Bielak of Sayreville; and a sister-in-law, Theresa Bielak of South Amboy. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by interment in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Sayreville. Arrangements were by the George S.
