Sat., Jan. 25
   Teen Advisory Board at 1:30 p.m. at the Bordentown Public Library, 18 E. Union St., Bordentown City. Teens ages 12 and up are welcome to attend the Teen Advisory Board meeting. Teens will be able to share their ideas on programming, and how to attract more kids their age to the library. The meetings will be counted toward volunteer hours.
   Teen Cupcake Wars at 2 p.m. at the Bordentown Public Library, 18 E. Union St., Bordentown City. Teens ages 12 and up are invited to compete in a cupcake decorating competition.
   The Roebling Museum, 100 Second Ave., Roebling, will present “Kids Create: Curators” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum will display never before seen historical objects in its galleries. Kids can explore the science and tools that we use to protect, preserve and display historic artifacts. Kid curators can even try their hand at exhibit design. Admission is $5.    The Bordentown Historical Society and the Thomas Paine Society invite the public to a personal appearance at 2 p.m. by America’s first war correspondent, the man whose writings encouraged our rag-tag troops to keep fighting for our freedom. The event is at the Friends Meeting House, 302 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown City. First-person interpreter Bob Gleason from the American Historical Theatre in Philadelphia will educate and entertain.    Book Bingo at 4:30 p.m. . at the Bordentown Public Library, 18 E. Union St., Bordentown City. Children ages 7 years and older are invited to play Bingo with a library twist.
Mon., Feb. 3
   The Holy Cross Lutheran Preschool, 280 Crosswicks Road, Bordentown, annual Open House and registration will be held from 6.to 7:30 p.m. Children’s musical entertainer, Annie B., will perform for the children at 6:30 p.m. See the facilities and view the curriculum for both our 3- and 4-year-old programs.    The Bordentown Elks, Lodge 2085 is having its annual Jerry Blavat’s ‘50s dance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. DJ starts at 7. Cost $25. To be held at the lodge 11 Amboy Ave, Bordentown. For tickets call Patty 298-9181. No outside drinks.

   The Roebling Museum, , will celebrate National Engineers Week with the program “Kids Create: Bridges and Machines.” Everyone that attends can test their bridge building skills and discover the science of bridges and other architectural marvels from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5.    Virginia Virtuosi American Music will be the focus of a concert from three performers from the State of Virginia at 3 p.m. at Bordentown Regional Middle School, 50 Dunn’s Mill Road, Bordentown. Tickets: Adults $15: Students $5. 609-298-5465. Dohnanyi and Gershwin will be among the composers presented as well as an original composition by the ensemble’s music director, Mark Bergman.

   Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 has bingo every Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
   Doors open at 5 p.m. There is a progressive jackpot, and food is available for purchase.
   The lodge has sandwich night every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The price is $6 per person.
   Lodge 2085 hosts a breakfast the third Sunday of every month from 8 to 11 a.m. All proceeds benefit the Special Children’s Committee.
   The Consolidated Fire Association will sponsor Bingo every Wednesday night at St. Mary’s School starting Sept. 18. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the games will start at 7 p.m.
   Any parent who suspect his or child may be slow in developing language, social, motor or cognitive skills may be eligible for the Bordentown Regional School District’s preschool disabilities program. Contact the Child Study Team at 609-298-0025, ext. 1135.
   Bordentown Regional School District is offering a full-day, tuition-based early education program for children 4 or older.

   The club meets the first and third Monday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Senior Community Center on Municipal Drive. All township seniors age 55 and older are welcome.
