Over the last 10 years, Prudential New Jersey Properties has been working closely with the Sunshine Kids Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids cope with cancer with fun activities and trips. Since 2004, Prudential New Jersey Properties has raised a total of $883,181.64 and plans to surpass the $1,000,000 mark this year.
In 2013, the company raised $134,454.77 through various office and company events. The Ninth Annual Sunshine Kids Golf Outing alone was able to raise more than $51,000.
In 2012, Prudential New Jersey Properties raised $129,350.68, ranking the company third in Sunshine Kids donations among all Prudential Real Estate affiliates. They hope to hit their goal of $150,000 for 2014, which will put them over the $1,000,000 mark.
“These past 10 years have been surreal,” says Steve Janett, chief operating officer at Prudential New Jersey Properties. “To have an opportunity to surpass $1,000,000 in donations is a monumental opportunity and we could not have come this far without the loyal support of our customers and employees. That being said, surpassing this mark will not an easy task and we need a lot of help getting there.”
