The Northern Burlington Regional High School Band Booster and Marching Band Unit Chesterfield Inn Take Out or Eat In will hold its final night, tonight February 13 at the Chesterfield Inn, 633 Chesterfield Arneytown Road.
Buyers must have flyer, sales on alcoholic beverages not included in fundraiser. Proceeds to support the Northern Burlington Band Boosters and Marching Unit.

The Crosswicks Friends Meeting Assembly presentation entitled Discovering The Light Within given by Judy Wright and John Enz will be held 9:30 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Crosswicks Friends First Day School. The Crosswicks Friends Meeting Craft Night will be held 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the First Day School, located on the grounds of the Meeting House in Crosswicks. This free event is an opportunity to come together to share conversation and fellowship while working on one’s own craft projects (i.e. sewing, quilting, spinning, scrapbooking, etc.).

The Northern Burlington County Regional High School Marching Unit Pasta Dinner Fundraiser will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23 at the Crosswicks Fire House at 18 New Street.
Adults age 12 and up $8.50, children age 5-12 $5, under 5 is free. Proceeds benefit the Award Winning Marching Unit.
The Chesterfield Township Historical Society will hold a cooking demonstration with Bryan Brodowski, former owner/chef of Acacia restaurant in Lawrenceville, at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28.
Take the edge off of the winter weather by learning the secrets of making homemade soups with Bryan in the kitchen at the Historical Society headquarters at 2 Front Street. At the end of the demonstration, sit down with Bryan and fellow cooks to enjoy a tasty meal of soup, salad, dessert and wine in what is hoped to be the first of a series of cooking demonstrations with Bryan.
Space is limited to 10 participants, so sign up early. The cost is $50 for CTHS members, $60 for non-members.

The Chesterfield Township Board of Education has announced its 2014 regular meeting dates up to its reorganization meeting on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.
Meeting dates are: Feb. 20, March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17, Aug. 21, Sept. 18,Oct. 16, Nov. 20 and Dec. 18. All such meetings are to be held on the third Thursday, unless otherwise indicated, at 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted, at the Chesterfield Township School in Chesterfield.
Formal official action may be taken at such meetings on any and all business involving the Chesterfield Township Board of Education. The board may go into executive session for any of these meetings. For more information, visit www.chesterfieldschool.com
Chesterfield Township residents have been elected as officers of the Burlington County Firefighters Association for 2014.
President Michael Stein is member of the Chesterfield Hose Company, and Treasurer Stanley Lewis is a member of the Union Fire Company of Crosswicks.
Stan Lewis also serves on the District 1 Board of Fire Commissioners. The Burlington County Firefighters Association was founded in 1915, and serves as a support organization for the volunteer firefighters of Burlington County.

The Chesterfield Township motor oil-recycling tank at the Township Municipal Building will be closed until further notice because of contaminants that were found in the oil.
The township is unsure at this time if they will continue to provide this service to the residents. Motor oil can be taken to the Burlington County Hazardous Waste Facility or to a gas station that changes oil.

The Chesterfield Township Historical Society recently opened its research library dedicated to longtime township historian Mal Knowles.
The research library has a thorough residential history of the township as well as local genealogical information and research aids (wills, vital records, etc.).
