More than 20 Olympic and World Championships medalists will compete at the 107th NYRR Millrose Games on Feb. 15 at The New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York, N.Y.
Among the top Americans entered are Olympic gold medalist and decathlon world-record holder Ashton Eaton, eighttime NYRR Wanamaker Mile champion Bernard Lagat, World Championship silver medalist Nick Symmonds and teenage sensation Mary Cain.
The Greater Media area will be well represented this year. Team USA 2013 World Championship team member Ashley Higginson, a Colts Neck High School graduate who competes for Saucony and the New Jersey-New York Track Club, will be running the women’s 3,000 meters; Robby Andrews, the Manalapan High School product who runs for Adidas, is competing in the Mel Sheppard 1,000 meters; Freehold Township High School’s girls 4×400 relay team of Domonique Panton, Caitlyn Poss, Adrian Vitello and Emily Bracher is running in the Suburban 4×400; Holmdel High School standout Marin Warner has been invited to run in the girls high school mile; Long Branch High School sprint standout Cleopatra Morris is running in the high school girls 55-meter dash; and in the Suburban boys 4×400 relay, there are the Metuchen High School (Danny Briggs, Ivan Gulyaev, James Poandl and Julian Lenartowicz) and Old Bridge High School (Marcus Hernandez, Alex Leto, Jayson Gilbert and Hazem Miawad) teams.
In addition, Shore Athletic Club members are competing in relays and as individuals, as are Monmouth University’s student-athletes.

The 2014 NYRR Millrose Games will begin at 12 noon and conclude at 6:30 p.m., featuring the primetime window from 3-5 p.m. Further questions can be answered by calling The Armory at 212-923- 1803, ext. 7200.
