The Jackson Community School is hosting a bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show on March 4.
This year’s theme, “ARTiculture” or art’s influence in gardening, will focus on how landscapes, gardens and floral arrangements have inspired artists from the Old Masters to the Impressionists to the most creative forces working today.
Lunch is aboard the Moshulu, a restaurant presented on the world’s oldest and largest four-mast sailing ship, with a special themed menu representing countries from around the world.
Entry to the flower show includes lectures, demonstrations and presentations, including flower arranging and cooking presentations. The cost includes motor coach transportation, admission, trip leader and driver’s gratuity. The bus will depart Jackson at 8:45 a.m. and return at 5:30 p.m. The fee is $109 with lunch and $74 without lunch. Details: Faith, 732-689-2251.
