Har Sinai Temple will host an informal "Getting to Know Us" afternoon
social at a member’s Pennington home on March 9 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. for anyone interested in knowing more about the reform temple and its religious school.
"This will be a casual, no-hard-sell event," said Jay Greenberg, co-chair of Har Sinai’s membership committee. "It’s a way to introduce ourselves to people outside the more formal atmosphere of the temple."
Emails sent out to the membership of Har Sinai have already invited the congregation to tell adult family and friends about the get-together which only requires calling Har Sinai at (609) 730-8100 to RSVP. The location of the social will be given when the reservation is made.
Rabbi Stuart Pollack and Magda Reyes, the temple’s director of education, will attend, along with temple members, to answer any questions. Light appetizers will be served.
