The Corpus Christi Women’s Ministry will present “The 12 Steps of Caregiving,” a lecture for caregivers, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in the church hall, 100 James St., South River.
Guest speaker will be Mary Anne Ross, coordinator, Comprehensive Services on Aging (COPSA) Alzheimer’s Resource Center, Piscataway.
Based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, the 12 Steps of Caregiving was developed by two registered nurses to be used as a guide for families. The lecture will allow caregivers to discuss each step and to devise action steps and apply them to individual caregiving situations.
The public is invited. Admission is free of charge. Registration is required.
