Mr. Alpert, 91, of Manalapan, died Feb. 4, 2014, at CareOne of Jackson. He was employed as a route man for the Hudson County News Co., Jersey City, for more than 45 years, retiring in 1988. He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria. Surviving are his children, Harvey Alpert of Marlboro, and Paul and Elise Alpert, both of New York City; and five grandchildren. Services were at Montefiore Cemetery, Queens, N.Y.
