Freehold Gymnastics Club gymnasts competed in USAIGC meets at Ace Gymnastics and Westy’s Gymnastics with impressive results.

Bronze-level winners were Alexis Rogers, first place in bars, and second place in vault, beam, floor and all-around; Allison Kovacs, second place in vault, beam, and all-around, and third place in bars; Arizona Reynoso, first place in vault, beam and all-around; Emily Triolo, first place in floor, and second place in bars and beam; Julia Schmookler, second place in floor and third place in vault; Madison Doran, first place in floor, and second place in bars and all-around; Meredith Walker, first place in floor and third place in bars; Ruthie Albanese, third place in beam; Sarah Tiolo, third place in floor; and Taylor Faup, second place in vault, and third place in bars and beam.

Silver-level medal winners were Cassandra Rudderow, first place in beam, floor and all-around, and third place in vault and bars; and Emma Downs, first place in vault, bars, beam, floor and all-around.

Registration is open for RTC Training’s six-week Women’s Only Running Program at Meadowridge Park in Rumson. The program is for women of all abilities to help them reach their goals in 2014.

Each session will focus on personal goal development, proper technique and mechanics, and having fun while running. This program will be coached by local elite runner Marissa Alberti and directed by Robert Cavanaugh, director of RTC Training.

RTC Training’s Women’s Running Program will be held on six consecutive Thursdays (March 6, March 13, March 20, March 27, April 3 and April 10) from 10-11 a.m. at Meadowridge Park in Rumson.

Alberti is an avid runner, with a passion for helping others in their goal of living healthier lives. She is a former winner of the Beauty and the Beach 5-mile, second-place finisher at the Spring Lake 5, multiple top-five finisher at the George Sheehan Classic and a third-place finisher at the Myrtle Beach Half Marathon.
