HILLSBOROUGH: Women charged with shoplifting at Kohl’s

   Police reported two alleged shoplifting offenses at the Kohl’s store on Route 206.
   Jenene Remaley, 49, of Somerset, was charged with shoplifting $250 worth of women’s apparel on Feb. 9.
   Vanessa Rivero, 30, of Bridgewater was charged with trying to take $36 worth of men’s clothing on Feb. 11.
   Both were booked and released with a date to appear to court.
   Police also said Matthew Scharfstein, 32, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with driving while under the influence Feb. 3 after his vehicle was stopped on Route 206. He was also charged with refusing to give breath samples, speeding and failure to stay in a lane. He was released pending a court appearance.
   Anthony Horta Jr., 19, of Hillsborough was charged with possession of marijuana after it was found on him when his vehicle was stopped on New Amwell Road on Feb. 12. He was released with a court date.
