Manville has the taste for food of many nationalities and ethnicities.
Pierogies, potato pancakes, empanadas, lasagne, etc.
The Ladies Auxiliary of Camplain Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 on 13th Avenue is collecting recipes for a Manville Community Cookbook.
They want many suggestions, of all kinds, submitted by March 14.
Manville residents are encouraged to submit up to four recipes for inclusion in the cookbook. Cultural specialties, yummy desserts and family or pot-luck favorites all would make excellent additions to the cookbook.
Submission forms are available at the following locations: Bucky’s The Closet, 45 S. Main St.; the Manville Public Library, 100 So. 10th Ave., and Otrimski Couch Accounting, 609 W. Camplain Road.
Recipes can also be submitted electronically at CamplainLadies.com.
The cookbooks will be available for sale after they are printed, with the price to be determined based on size and quantity. They will also be available at the Manville Community Day in October. Questions can be directed to Stephanie Jeremiah, 908-722-4133, or [email protected].
