Julio Resto, 76, of Princeton, was arrested Feb. 27 on Leigh Avenue for an active traffic warrant in the amount of $164. He was later released after a relative posted his bail.
Bright Oduro, 62, of East Orange, was arrested at 11:56 a.m. Feb. 27 on the 200 block of Ewing Street for an active warrant out of Newark Municipal Court in the amount of $500. He was released after posting bail.
An unknown amount of hydrocodone was reported stolen from a dentist office on the 600 block of Ewing Street sometime between noon and 2:15 p.m. Feb. 25.
A wallet and its contents, valued at $85, were reported stolen from a woman while she was at the Princeton University Store on University Place sometime between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 25.
Zora Schiltz-Rouse, 21, of Princeton was arrested at 11:59 p.m. March 1 and charged with drunken driving after she was involved in an accident on William Street. She was not injured in the single car crash.
Christopher Watson, 18, of West Windsor, was arrested at 9:09 p.m. March 1 on Red Hill Road and was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to stop or yield and unclear license plates.
James Bendel, 27, of Princeton, was arrested at 9:07 p.m. March 2 on Cherry Valley Road for an active traffic warrant out of East Windsor Municipal Court.
Plainsboro
Ashutosh A. Rai, 45, of Canton, Mich., was arrested at 12:28 a.m. Feb. 26 on Scudders Mill Road and was charged with drunken driving, reckless driving, failure to signal and failure to maintain a lane.
West Windsor
A 28-year-old Trenton resident’s car was burglarized while parked in the Walmart parking lot in the Nassau Park Retail Center between 3 p.m. and 3:39 p.m. March 1. The suspect was wearing jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. The suspect’s vehicle was a dark colored late model Nissan, Maxima or Altima. The unknown suspect cut the convertible’s roof and stole $580 worth of clothing and electronics. Anyone who witnessed the incident should call the West Windsor Police Department Detective Bureau at 609-799-1222.
Over the course of the last few months, a Zaitz Farm Road resident has been the victim of a number of economic crimes. During this time frame, access was gained to financial accounts, and money was removed fraudulently. To date, the loss is estimated to be in the thousands of dollars. This investigation is ongoing.
A cellular phone valued at $500 was reported stolen on Feb. 28. A 16-year-old West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South student left the phone on a school bus before being dropped off at his home in the Estates of Princeton Junction. The phone was later tracked to a Trenton address.
Richard Reutter, 67, of Princeton was arrested at 8:14 a.m. March 1 on Alexander Road. He was allegedly a wanted person by the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Department.
Two black females between the ages of 27 and 35 with stocky builds concealed items and fled from Famous Footwear at the Nassau Park Pavilion at 4:26 p.m. Feb. 28. The suspects fled in a white Chrysler brand auto. The amount of the loss is estimated to be $91.99. This is an active investigation.
