Shermira Cromwell, 23, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting an assortment of Polo brand underwear valued at $980 from Macy’s at 6:22 p.m. Feb. 26. She was found to have an outstanding warrant and was released after posting bail of $5,000 with a 10-percent option.
Two 32-inch Pro-scan television sets, valued at a combined $399.98, were reported stolen from ShopRite on Brunswick Pike at 4:47 p.m. Feb. 27. A black male walked into the store, loaded the TV sets in a shopping cart, and left the store.
Two Apple iPhones, valued at a combined $1,200, were reported stolen from the AT&T store at the Mercer Mall at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 28. Two black males went into the store, walked over to a display, cut the wires securing the cell phones and left the store.
Bryant Bethea, 35, of Trenton, was charged with theft by deception for allegedly taking $1,170 in cash from several cash registers at J.C. Penney between Feb. 9 and Feb. 28, while he worked at the store. He was released after posting $204 bail for an outstanding warrant from Trenton and posting $5,000 with the 10-percent option for the Lawrence charge.
Thirty designer panties, valued at a combined $435, were reported stolen from Victoria’s Secret at 3:46 p.m. Feb. 28. The suspect was described as an Indian man.
A guest at Mount’s Motel on Brunswick Pike told police someone stole $1,100 from her room Feb. 28 between 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry.
Pedro Palmares, 30, and Gabriel Ruiz, 23, both of Albany, N.Y., were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after the car in which they were riding was stopped at 9:03 p.m. March 1 in the area of the Trenton Freeway near Whitehead Road.
Kevin Bookholdt, 48, of Bordentown, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and failure to maintain lamps after a motor vehicle stop on Strawberry Street at 2:23 a.m. March 2.
Dominick Elisio, 63, of Trenton, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of an unlawful weapon (three knives) after police were called for an unruly customer at the Quick Chek on the Brunswick Circle at 8:19 a.m. March2.
He was found to have an outstanding warrant from Lawrence and during a search while he was being arrested, it was discovered that he had several acetaminophen with codeine pills in his possession, along with the knives. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of bail.
Valerie Kasey, 54, of Town Court North, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, unsafe lane change and failure to keep right on Brunswick Pike at 8:29 a.m. March 2.
Three boys, ages 12, 13 and 14, were charged in connection with the theft of an Apple iPhone, valued at $170, belonging to a Cherry Hill resident at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 6:38 p.m. March 2. The teenagers were charged with theft and the 12-year-old was charged with complicity to commit theft.
