Pop Weight Loss, Freehold, is hosting a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties through March 8. A free nutrition consultation will be offered to anyone providing a donation of canned goods. Monmouth County will again offer employers and jobseekers an opportunity to connect at the Monmouth County Spring Job Fair scheduled for April 4 at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft. The event is free for employers to reserve a table and free for jobseekers to attend. Millstone Township Community Education, in conjunction with Voice Coaches, will present “Getting Paid To Talk,” an introduction to the world of voiceover acting, on March 20 at the Millstone Township Middle School, 5 Dawson Court, Millstone Township. The class is open to residents of all towns. Attendees will learn everything from the basics of getting started, working in a studio, effective demo production methods, and industry pros and cons to where to look for opportunities in and around the community, and how to land a job. Charles Schwab, a provider of full-service brokerage services, has opened a new independent branch at 3425 Route 9, Suite 101, Freehold. The new location is led by Schwab independent branch leader Rebecca Proske, CFP, a financial services professional with 16 years of experience in investing and financial planning.
Prior to joining Schwab’s independent branch network, Proske worked as a financial adviser, training manager and site leader at Ameriprise Financial and operated an office of supervisory jurisdiction for seven years.

John Cantwell of Howell was recently promoted to assistant branch manager at First Financial Federal Credit Union’s Howell and Freehold branches. Anthony Vendittoli of Freehold has been promoted to senior vice president at FITECH, Fairfield. Vendittoli, who joined Fitech in 2012, was previously a vice president at the firm. He is responsible for oversight of the real estate technology practice and in particular for the project management and enterprise resource planning services. He was formerly the controller at Vantage Properties and vice president of Newmark Knight Frank’s Global Corporate Services.
Barry S. Asch has been named assistant vice president of cancer care services at CentraState Healthcare System, Freehold Township. As part of the ongoing commitment to cancer services at CentraState Medical Center, Asch is responsible for overseeing the coordinated cancer care service line that better meets the needs of patients, their family members and referring physicians. Additionally, he serves as the liaison for cancer services for staff, physicians and community members to direct questions and concerns. Asch was previously the administrative director of Radiation Oncology at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Fla.
