   Seniors can hear how to deal with intergenerational conflict, get a free body mass index screenings, go creative with clay and taste potato leek soup in programs this week at the Manville Senior Center at the Fire Company No. 1 at 20 So. Third Ave.
   The senior center is normally open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
   A suggested lunch donation of $2 is recommended for individuals age 60 and older. The cost of lunch for those younger than age 60 is $6.50. Call 908-369-8700 before 10:30 a.m. the day before to make a lunch reservation.
   Transportation is available for those who do not drive.
   Bingo is played every Wednesday at 11:15 a.m.
   Creative movement exercises are led Wednesdays, 10:15-11 a.m. An aerobic chair exercise class is sponsored every Monday and Wednesday, 8:45-9:45 a.m.
   A healthy bones exercise class is held every Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30-11 a.m. Advance registration and a doctor’s note are required.

   Thurs., March 6 — “How to Deal with Intergenerational Conflict” by Suda Narasimham, a licensed social worker with Jewish Family Services of Somerset County. Ms. Suda will help older adults understand and cope with relationship changes that take place between adult children and grandchildren.
   Fri., March 7 — Free body mass index screenings with nutritional guidance by dietician Teresa Grasso of Saint Peter’s University Hospital. Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is calculated from your weight and height and measures average body fatness. This can serve as a guide to overall health
   Mon., March 10 — Craft: Being creative with clay.
   Tues., March 11 — Potato leek soup tasting with dietician Rachel Simpers, Shoprite/Wakefern Company. 10:45 a.m.
   Thurs., March 13 — Visit the Quail Brook Senior Center in Somerset for a “hands on” origami program, 10:30 a.m.
   Fri., March 14 — Dominoes with Al.
   Mon., March 17 — Happy Saint Patrick’s Day: Learn about Ireland’s culture and its people with a craft decoration.
   Tues., March 18 — Sing along with Ken Tekel and Pete Piccirillo on the drums and banjo.
   Wed., March 19 — “All About Somerset County’s K9 Unit Program” by Al Bauer, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.
   Fri., March 21 — Operation Shoebox community project.
   Mon., March 24 — Dominoes with Al.
   Tues., March 25 — Craft: Painting leprechauns with water colors.
   March 26 — “Nashville Memories” with entertainment by Michael Kaye, 10:45 a.m.
   Thurs., March 27 — “Controlling Bed Bugs” by Lynne Gregory, Coordinator, Pesticides Community Outreach, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 2.
   Fri., March 28 — Wii bowling.
   Mon., March 31 — Drumming circle program sponsored by the Horizon Foundation, 10:30 a.m.
