Alborada to salute Edison woman at gala

Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre will hold its annual gala and fundraiser on March 16 at the Ria Mar Restaurant, 25 Whitehead Ave., South River.

This year’s event, “Madrid 1930,” will honor Edison resident Claudia Campbell- Matland, senior director at Accriva Diagnostics (representing ITC and Accumetrics) for her volunteer work, longtime support and commitment to Alborada.

The event will include a buffet-style Spanish banquet with sangria and desserts and feature performances by the Alborada dancers and musicians, door prizes, a silent auction and more.
