Rabbi Eric Eisenkramer of Temple B’nai Shalom, Fern and Old Stage Roads, East Brunswick will be joining the nationwide event, “36 Rabbis Shave for the Brave,” to raise money for pediatric cancer research at 11 a.m. March 30.
The community is invited to watch Eisenkramer shave his head in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which funds research to find cures for childhood cancers.
Eisenkramer is participating in memory of “Superman Sam” Sommers, who recently lost his battle with leukemia at the age of 9.
Donations will be accepted toward the fundraising goal, and refreshments will be served.
