Event is March 15-16 at Prallsville Mill
Many items have been donated to the Stockton Borough School PTO’s annual Rummage Sale, including a used car!
The 13th annual sale will be held this weekend, March 15 and 16, at the Prallsville Mill on Route 29, Stockton.
The sale will open at 9 a.m. and last until 4 p.m. on Saturday. On Sunday doors will reopen at 9 a.m., with all items on sale for half the marked price. At noon there will be a bag sale — $6 to fill a bag.
Sandwiches, soup and other refreshments will be available during both days.
The donated vehicle, a 2002 Saturn, is valued at about $1,200 and was donated by a local couple who wanted to help the school.
Donations of gently used items such as clothing, shoes, household items, linens, toys, books, music and electronic games will be accepted at the mill through today (March 13) from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Donations are tax deductible; ask for a receipt. While all donations are appreciated, upholstered furniture, old televisions or computers, videotapes, old magazines, and items in poor condition cannot be accepted.
The sale benefits the students of Stockton Borough School. For information, to volunteer, or if interested in learning about the car for sale, contact Jim Gallagher at 609-397-4005.p
