Members of the district’s technology education staff will lead the school district’s second Parent Technology Night of the school year on Wednesday, March 26, from 7-8 p.m. in the Hillsborough High School auditorium.
Parents, students, staff, and community members are invited to attend. The evening’s discussion is “My Child’s 21st Century Trapper Keeper: Understanding Hillsborough’s Digital Resources.”
Topics are intended to aid attendees understand more about how Hillsborough students are using technology to stay organized, collaborate with peers, and enhance learning.
The program will emphasize the digital resources students are using in the classroom so parents are better able to provide support at home. Discussion will also focus on student @htps.us accounts and how to use these resources on a home computer, tablet or smart phone.
A demonstration on how the Google Apps collaborative environment works and how students share documents and calendars with staff will be provided.
