Spring Photography Workshops
Award-winning New Jersey photographers, Albert D. Horner and Denise Bush will be offering two photography workshops this spring through their Pinelands Photography School. “The mission of the school is to teach participants the best practices to consistently create exceptional images with their DSLR cameras,” Horner explained.
Creating Exceptional Landscape Photographs will be held on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The course is very comprehensive, covering everything from pre-visualization to capture. Topics include equipment, locations, exposure, composition and much more. “We’ve offered this class twice and have had great feedback from participants of all skill levels,” Bush said.
The second offering, Macro Photography & The Natural World is a fun, hands-on workshop. After a one-hour class, focusing on close-up photography specifically, the students have the opportunity to shoot in the on-site gardens and among several set-up subjects. This class will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Workshops are held at the Pinelands Preservation Alliance, 17 Pemberton Road, Southampton Township, NJ. The cost is $75 for each workshop.
Both classes offer an additional field workshop the following day to practice what has been learned. These field opportunities are limited to six participants allowing Albert and Denise to provide optimal assistance to each participant.
