FLORENCE — The Florence Township Memorial High School PTO is holding its annual fashion show tomorrow night with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the show itself beginning at 7 p.m.
Every year for more than 20 years the PTO has sponsored the prom fashion show, which will be held at the high school, 1050 Cedar Lane, Florence.
According to a press release, due to budget cuts, the organization last year added underclassmen models and a raffle to raise money to pay for after-school activities. These additions helped the show raise enough money to fund eight clubs and add a school newspaper and bookclub.
Seniors formal wear are sponsored by Renee Elle Couture and Formal Expressions, both of Maple Shade, while underclassmen clothes are sponsored by Hollister Co., of Moorestown Mall.
In addition four local salons have donated hair and makeup for our models. This year, the show will feautre more than 66 models.
Event raffles will feature more than 85 donated items including a Tiffany necklace, Coach handbags, Disney Park hopper tickets, a year’s worth of hair-cuts from Super Cuts and a Cheesecake Factory gift card.
