Police charged Austin D. Summerville, 19, of Willingboro, and Devon A. Cooper, 21, of Burlington City for narcotics possession on March 12.
According to police, patrol saw a car in the roadway on Parkside Drive and approached the car’s occupants as they excited Mario & Franks. An ensuing investigation revealed 14 individually packaged baggies containing suspected marijuana, police said.
Both were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Mr. Cooper was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.
Mr. Summerville was released without bail, while Mr. Cooper was transported to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.
March 15 police arrested Immanuel Covington, 26, of Burlington, who had an outstanding warrant in the amount of $30,206.31 from the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department for child neglect.
The accused was taken to Burlington County Jail in lieu of bail with an appearance in Superior Court pending, police said.
Police charged Hilton J. Bunce, 55, and Shirley Bunce, 52, both of Roebling, for filing false police reports on March 18.
According to police, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of an armed robbery on Norman Avenue. Police said patrol made contact with the accused, who told police a suspect had robbed them of prescription drugs, including oxycodone, enalapril and ambient, at gunpoint.
The pair further told police they had the prescriptions filled in Mount Holly and were returning home when they were allegedly robbed.
Police said an ensuing investigation revealed the story had been fabricated.
Bail was set at $5,000 for both accused, police said.
March 21 police charged Kulwant Singh Gurney, 31, of Cranbury for driving while intoxicated.
Police said officers responded to reports of an aggressive driver on Florence Columbus Road, prompting a motor vehicle stop on Mr. Gurney’s car.
Police said Mr. Gurney subsequently failed sobriety tests.
He was also charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane.
Mr. Gurney was released without bail.
Police charged Justin F. Maceachern, 23, of Bordentown, for driving while intoxicated on March 23.
According to police, the accused failed sobriety tests after a motor vehicle stop on Florence Columbus Road.
Mr. Maceachern was also charged with reckless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failing to maintain a lane, following too closely and failing to have an interlock device.
He was released without bail.
Mansfield
Police charged Elsa Roman, 34, of Camden, was arrested on March 6 after it was discovered she had two active traffic warrants, as well as a criminal warrant.
According to police, officers made contact with Ms. Roman while investigating a theft at Princeton Tech on Route 130.
Ms. Roman was released without bail.
March 8 police arrested Nancy Cristinzio, 52, of Bordentown, after patrol discovered she was wanted on active criminal and traffic warrants.
After processing, the accused was transported to Burlington County Jail for the warrants.
Police arrested Tyler Galloway, 21, of Lambertville, on March 12 after patrol discovered he had an outstanding warrant from Pennington Borough.
The warrant was discovered during a motor vehicle stop for speeding on Columbus Road, police said.
Mr. Galloway was released without bail.
March 15 police charged Jason Ledford, 30, of Bordentown, after patrol discovered he was wanted on a criminal warrant.
According to police, patrol discovered the warrant after making contact with Mr. Ledford as he walked along Route 130.
Mr. Ledford was released without bail.
Police arrested Stephanie Morrison, 28, of Columbus, after patrol discovered she was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
According to police, the warrant was discovered through a random check, prompting a motor vehicle stop.
Ms. Morrison posted bail and was released.
