The East Windsor Township Planning Board held a special meeting Monday to renew the township planner’s contract.
The 8 p.m. assembly was held in the East Windsor Township Municipal Building.
Although brief, the meeting was quite beneficial, with the board voting unanimously to pass a resolution renewing the contract of the township planner.
Richard T. Coppola, P.P., A.I.C.P., of Coppola and Coppola Associates had his contract renewed and will continue serving as the East Windsor Township Planner.
According to the Data Universe website, which lists public employees and their salaries, Mr. Coppola has been the Township Planner for West Windsor and Plainsboro since 1999.
As of 2012, he was earning a base salary of $77,070, according to Data Universe.
Mr. Coppola is the president of Coppola and Coppola Associates, which is located at 218 N Post Road in Princeton Junction.
The company, classified as city regional and town planners, was established in 1992 and employs a staff of four employees.
There was no public comment regarding the renewal at Monday’s meeting.
