Rojo’s Roastery, a Lambertville institution since 2005, is pleased to announce the opening of its third location, inside the Brick Farm Market in Hopewell, NJ. This third Rojo’s location (second to open in the space of a year) highlights the rapid expansion of this acclaimed artisan coffee brand in central NJ. Zagat’s top-rated, must-try, #1 coffee shop in New Jersey and Philadelphia Magazine’s “best coffee in Philadelphia”, the opening of Rojo’s at Brick Farm Market marks a special and more personal achievement for 30-year hopewell borough resident and Rojo’s founder, J. David Waldman who has long-sought the opportunity to bring expertly roasted and prepared coffee to his hometown.
A Rojo’s-owned, Rojo’s-operated coffee establishment within the recently opened Brick Farm Market, they will serve the same line of handcrafted espresso, coffee and tea beverages for which they have become a destination in the Princeton and Lambertville communities. Rojo’s Roastery is known for its carefully curated offering of single-origin coffees. In a large, industrial space in the north end of Lambertville, coffee is roasted daily on a meticulously-restored, vintage gas-fired Probat roaster. Next, coffees are carefully cupped (tasted) and roasted to exacting standards before it makes its way to the shelves of cafes in Princeton, Lambertville and now Hopewell.
In addition to espresso beverages, there is a pourover station where patrons can purchase made-to-order brewed coffee throughout the day, from a selection of featured single- origin beans. Iced coffee is also available, as well as decaf, and in the morning the staff brews large pots of the house blend, one single origin and decaf for customers on the go. They serve an impressive menu of hot and iced teas carefully prepared with organic loose leaf teas from around the world, rounding out a very serious contribution to the coffee and tea offerings in Princeton.
