A Trenton man who allegedly threatened to “shoot people” has been charged with making a false public alarm after the incident at the Starbucks coffee shop at the Quaker Bridge Mall, according to police Lt. Joseph Amodio.
Doug Francimore, 52, of Trenton, allegedly issued the threat shortly before 11 a.m. on March 26, Lt. Amodio said. He spoke loudly enough so that other people could hear him, and someone alerted mall security officers. They, in turn, called the Police Department.
Mr. Francimore “appeared agitated” while he was in the store, Lt. Amodio said. He allegedly said he was going to grab a gun and shoot everyone.
”We take this very seriously,” Lt. Amodio said.
Police arrived and investigated the incident. No weapon was found.
Mr. Francimore was charged with making a false public alarm and released on a summons.
