LAWRENCE: Police blotter

   The office at the Worldwide Floor Covering business on Brunswick Pike was reported burglarized between 9 a.m. and noon March 26, but nothing was reported missing. An employee noticed that the window glass on the office door was broken to gain entry.
   Someone broke into the Glendale Liquor Store on Quakerbridge Road at 11:09 p.m. March 26, but nothing was reported missing. Police responded to an activated burglar alarm and discovered the burglar tossed a rock through the front glass door to get inside.
   Aliscia Ball, 21, of Trenton was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia (a plastic baggy with white residue) and hindering apprehension for giving a false name after the car in which she was riding was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Brunswick Pike at 2:23 a.m. March 29.
   Another passenger in the car, 24-year-old Stefon Beale of Trenton, was dropped off at the Trenton Police Department after police discovered he had outstanding warrants from Trenton.
   Two Mendrey Court residents reported the theft of packages that were supposed to have been left on their respective front porches March 27. One resident reported that he tracked the delivery and found it was dropped off, but it was not there when he checked on it.
   Jasmine Fayton, 26, of Trenton, was charged with neglect of a child for allegedly leaving her 5-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter in the back seat of her car at 4:54 p.m. March 29 in the parking lot at the Quaker Bridge Mall while she went into Macy’s to return an item.
   A passerby noticed the two children in the back seat of the car and notified mall security officers, who in turn called the Lawrence Township Police Department. Ms. Fayton told police she did not want to wake up her children, who were asleep, while she went into the store.
   Someone entered an unlocked 2010 Acura and stole $10 in change from the glove box between 10:47 p.m. and 10:49 p.m. March 28 while the car was parked outside its owner’s residence on Whitemarsh Drive.
   A 2006 Ford Taurus belonging to a Franklin Arms apartment complex resident was reported stolen at 7:17 a.m. March 31 after he left the car running so it could warm up. The car, which was unlocked, was valued at $7,000.
   A Princeton Pike resident reported the theft of his 2003 Jeep Wrangler, valued at $15,000, from his home between midnight March 29 and 8 a.m. March 31. The Jeep was locked, but the victim could not find the spare keys and does not believe they were in the Jeep when it was stolen.
   A burglar entered an enclosed porch and pried open a door to the house to get inside a Woodfield Lane residence between 6:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. March 31. The burglar ransacked the second floor of the home and escaped with an assortment of jewelry.
