    The Manville Senior Center at the Fire Company No. 1 at 20 South Third Ave. is normally open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
   A suggested lunch donation of $2 is recommended for individuals age 60 and older. The cost of lunch for those younger than age 60 is $6.50. Call 908-369-8700 before 10:30 a.m. the day before to make a lunch reservation.
   Transportation is available for those who do not drive.
   Bingo is played every Wednesday at 11:15 a.m.
   Birthdays are celebrated on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
   Creative movement exercises are led Wednesdays, 10:15-11 a.m. An aerobic chair exercise class is sponsored every Monday and Wednesday, 8:45-9:45 a.m.
   A healthy bones exercise class is held every Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30-11 a.m. Advance registration and a doctor’s note are required.
   Tai chi is held every Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Advance registration is required.

   Mon., April 7 — A State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) counselor will be available to provide free help with problems with, or questions about, their health insurance. Call 908-526-0175 to schedule an appointment.
   Mon., April 7 — Free glucose screenings with Amy Walsh of Somerset Medical Center.
   Tues., April 8 — “Hands On” calligraphy program by Catherine Lent sponsored by the Horizon Foundation, 10:45 a.m. This program is made possible, in part, by funds from the N.J. State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, and administered by the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission through the State/County Partnership Local Arts Program.
   Thurs., April 10 — Craft: Easter egg decorating workshop.
   Fri., April 11 — Learn and play the Dirty Polly card game.
   Mon., April 14 — “Affordable Housing” by Laura Wetzeo, Central Jersey Housing Resource Center.
   Tues., April 15 — Craft: Creating Easter rabbits with Cathy.
   Thurs., April 17 — “Fraud Alert.” A U.S. Postal Inspection Service federal agent will discuss specifics of sweepstakes and foreign lottery fraud.
   Fri., April 18 — Center closed for holiday.
   Mon., April 21 — “The Danger of Alcohol” by Gabrielle Cincotta, Somerset Treatment Services.
   Tues., April 22 — Free foot and ankle screenings with Sharon Joag, East Brunswick Foot Care.
   Thurs., April 24 — Vocal performance with Josie Mescallado will include classical and opera selections, Broadway show tunes, popular movie classics and patriotic songs. Attendees are encouraged to sing along.
   Fri., April 25 — Operation Shoebox community project.
   Mon., April 28 — “What You Should Know About Recycling” by Melissa Harvey, Somerset County Solid Waste Department.
   Tues., April 29 — “What Services Does the Handyman Program Offer?” by Bill Crosby, Somerset County Volunteer Office.
