Someone stole a backpack from the Quadrangle Club on Prospect Avenue around 2:19 p.m. April 3. The backpack contained a Macbook Pro laptop. The total amount of the theft was estimated at $3,470.
Mark Wasco, 22, of New Brunswick, was arrested at 8:40 a.m. April 3 after a motor vehicle stop on Hamilton Avenue at Harriet Drive. He had active warrants in the amount of $750 out of New Brunswick Municipal Court.
West Windsor
Someone broke the window of a 2012 Ford van owned by the Mistras Group between 6:30 p.m. April 3 and 8:30 a.m. April 4 and stole $41,000 worth of sensor equipment stored in the van. The van, which was parked in the lot at 195 Clarksville Road, was also vandalized. Two of its tires were slashed and a swastika was spray-painted on its side.
A Plainsboro resident lost his wallet in the Walmart parking lot around 9:50 p.m. April 3. Someone took the wallet and used the victim’s credit cards in Trenton. The wallet and its contents were valued at $443.
A Titusville resident had her purse stolen from a shopping cart in the Walmart parking lot around 2:04 p.m. April 1. The purse and its contents were valued at approximately $5,000.
Someone forced open the side door of a residence on Dunbar Drive between 1:03 p.m. and 1:13 p.m. April 6. Nothing was taken from the residence. The damage to the side door was valued at approximately $100.
