BORDENTOWN — Bordentown Township is partnering with the Chesterfield Township Green Team to hold a health & wellness and green team fairs on Saturday, April 26 at Joseph Lawrence Park on Ward Avenue.
The fairs will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and are expected to include at least 24 informational booths featuring health care organizations, including those involving various specialties, with personnel ready to provide valuable information and giveaways to attendees.
In addition, the fair will include demonstrations, exhibitors for the Green Fair, children’s crafts, vendors selling a variety of items and a screening HIV bus on site, providing immediate test results.
Environmentally friendly businesses will be on hand, while a hybrid car is also expected to be on display for viewing.
There will be free water, juice and packaged snacks while supplies last for attendees.
Another major part of the day’s events will include a family walk to benefit two families in the township that have children with catastrophic illnesses that have created significant medical bills.
