Flower sale: The Manville North End Volunteer Fire Company No. 3 and Ladies Auxiliary will hold their annual Easter sale of plants for gift giving. Special sale night on Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the firehouse on corner of North 8th Avenue and Louis Street. The sale moves outside to parking lot of Rhythm’s (South Main and Wilhousky streets) on Friday (opening at noon) and Saturday, starting at 9 am. Children can enter a free drawing for an Easter basket.

Family night: Roosevelt Family Night Olympics, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Fund drive: Manville Fire Department will hold a boot walk fundraisers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the intersections of Main Street and Brooks Boulevard, Duke’s Parkway and West Camplain Road.
Sun., May 4
Breakfast: Christ the Redeemer Parish holds breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, French toast and potatoes. 8-11:30 a.m. in auditorium of Sacred Heart Church, South Main and Filak streets. Tickets sold at door at $5 for adults, $2 for children 6-12 years old and free for 5 years old and younger. For information, call 908-725-0072.

Slavic dinner: St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church holds monthly dinner, 4 to 7 p.m., St. Mary Parish Center, 1900 Brooks Blvd. $13 for adults (ages 9 and up) and $5 for children (8 and under). All-you-can-eat pirohi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes. A surprise entrée will be prepared by St. Mary’s chef John Pagano. Orders to go are available. Recreation office hours: Monday, noon to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday, noon to 5 p.m., and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Friday. The recreation information line is 908-725-9478, ext. 119.
