Township officials are looking for volunteers to clean up the community during the 13th annual Pride in Springfield Township Day on April 24.
Plastic bags and gloves will be provided. Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m., with a light lunch served at 11:30 – both at the municipal building. At noon, there will be an Easter egg hunt for children volunteers up to age 10. The event has an April 27 rain date.

Springfield Township is seeking volunteers for several emergency medical services and Fire Department openings.

The Springfield Township School District is seeking incoming kindergarten students for its all day kindergarten for the 2014-15 school year.
Children must turn five years old by September, 30, 2014.

There is a program to help those caring for feral cats in the community.
The feral cat program has been established to increase the health of feral cats while decreasing the spread of disease through medical care and vaccines. The program also assists in reducing the population of feral cats through neutering.
