COLUMBUS: New Dunkin’ Donuts to open Saturday

COLUMBUS — This Saturday a grand opening ceremony is scheduled for a new Dunkin’ Donuts.
   The grand opening for the Dunkin’ Donuts, located in the Homstead Shopping Center on Columbus Road, will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries, live music, face painting and balloon animals for kids and food and beverage samples.
   The restaurant will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. 7 days a week and will employ approximately 20 crewmembers.
   The facility boasts a friendly and fun atmosphere complete with a flat-screen television and free Wi-Fi for patrons.
   ”We are proud to serve the hard-working people of Columbus and hope to become a popular destination and an everyday routine for guests looking for high-quality coffee, baked goods and snacks delivered fast in a friendly environment and at an affordable price,” Luis Garcia, franchisee, Dunkin’ Donuts, said in a press release.
   The stored is owned by the LuFrankton Franchisee network, with principle owners, Luis Garcia, Frank Sequeira, and Tony Sequeria, who have been in business in New Jersey since 1986.
   The Columbus store represents the 27th Dunkin’ Donuts in the state for this franchisee group with ten other locations in the Midwest. Ramy Shehata is the partner and restaurant manager in this location.
