Bordentown City
   Police charged Donnell Jr., 24, of Willingboro, for unlawful possession of a handgun on April 17.
   According to police, an officer saw a car matching a vehicle description in several anonymous tips of suspected drug trafficking. A random run of the car’s registration revealed its registration was also expired, police said.
   The gun, which was unlicensed and unregistered, was discovered during an ensuing motor vehicle stop, police said.
   Police said the case pending.
   March 29 police charged Andre Vajdics, 31, of Bordentown City, with criminal attempt burglary.
   According to police, police responded to reports of a man looking into cars on Railroad Avenue. Patrol later saw Mr. Vajdics looking into a car known not to belong to him.
   Police said the accused later admitted to looking for loose change in the cars. While being searched, according to police, he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, resulting in an additional charged.
   Police said the case is pending.
   Police charged Samantha Blum, 23, of Jobstown, for driving while intoxicated on March 27.
   According to police, officers were dispatched to the area of Prince Street for reports of a hit and run to several parked cars. The suspected vehicle, driven by Ms. Blum, was located shortly thereafter on W. Burlington Street.
   Police said it was determined she was driving under the influence.
   She was also charged with reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.
   The case is pending, police said.
Mansfield
   Police arrested Brandon Stein, 21, of Lumberton, after it was discovered he was wanted on two warrants on April 3.
   According to police, the warrants were discovered during a motor vehicle stop prompted by a random check that revealed Mr. Stein had a suspended driver’s license.
   Mr. Stein was subsequently turned over to the Bordentown City Police Department.
   April 7 police arrested Nina Randol, 27, of Browns Mills, after it was discovered she was wanted on a warrant.
   Police said the warrant was discovered during a motor vehicle stop for a moving violation on Route 206.
   Ms. Randol was released after posting bail.
   Police are investigating a residential burglary in the Landview Development off of Route 68 on April 7.
   According to police, the theft is believed to have occurred between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
   Police said the suspect(s) made entry through an open window. Police did not report whether value of stolen item(s).
   April 7 police arrested Vincent Messina, 41, of Bordentown, after it was discovered he had two warrants.
   The warrants were discovered during a motor vehicle stop prompted by a random check that revealed the car’s registration was expired. Police said further that Mr. Messina’s driver’s license was also suspended.
   He was released without bail.
   Police are reminding residents to be wary of anyone peddling products or services door-to-door, unless they have a permit, after a “sudden increase” of complaints of door-to-door solicitors throughout the township.
   According to police, the solicitors offered a myriad of products and services ranging from window and siding installation, to magazine subscriptions and aerial photographs of the property.
   Such activity is prohibited by township code unless the individual(s) have made an application with the township’s clerks office.
   Police further noted solicitors operating without a permit may have nefarious motives.
