Jessica McGowan, Girl Scout cadette with the MOJASPHE (Monroe, Jamesburg, Spotswood and Helmetta) Service Unit, will host a workshop on the Ronald McDonald House 2-4 p.m. May 3 in the children’s department of the Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza.
Jessica, who is working on her Girl Scout Silver Award, will discuss the Ronald McDonald House and what it does, how community members can help, and its expansion in New Brunswick to help more families. Guests at the workshop will make smile cards for the sick children and their families staying at the facility.
Registration is not required.
